How do I get rid of a porn link that insinuated itself in my IE context menu?
I guess the titles describes my question. I clicked on a link during a Google search that launched a Porn Site From Hell that did all manner of irritating things, including installing a new folder in my favorites folder, new icons on my desktop, etc. I got rid of everything (I think) except a link that is in my right-click menu in Internet Explorer.
Any idea on how I go about getting rid of it? Does it involve editing the registry? If so, I've never done that before so I'm throwing myself on the expertise of the, well, experts. |

I already have Adaware and I even ran it after I noticed all the stuff that appeared on my system. It didn't do anything for the link in my IE context menu though.

astro -- Thanks a million! That's just what I was looking for.
Q.E.D. - Your reply was helpful in a different sort of way. It got me thinking that I hadn't updated my Ad-aware reference files in a while, so I hopped over to the lavasoft site and downloaded the updates. It wound up catching a bunch of stuff I missed when I last did a scan. So thanks for the reminder
