Does my cough sound SARS-y to you?

If I don't get over this cold thing soon, I'm going to go crazy.

It has rained darn near every day since I got to Maryland, a month and a half ago. And I've been fighting the good fight with this headcold for the past week, but it does not seem to want to go away. I've been through a whole box of nasal decongestants, half a box of Honey Lemon TheraFlu (which tastes much better with a little suger added), and a whole bag of cough drops.

Today is the first bright, sunny morning I've seen in a long time. Could it be possible? Might I make it through a day without any rain? Will my poor flowers finally get some sun? Maybe it will actually be WARM outside today, considering it's JUNE, FER CRYING OUT LOUD!

All I ask is a little sun. A little sun to warm my face, and make me feel like it's not the dead of winter. Because this rainy, cold mess that we've had going on for a bit now feels like wintertime in Charleston, and I've had my fill, thank you.

I'm feeling better now that I've had a semi-productive day. I tried to clean out the garden a little, got some laundry done, and basically laid about the house the rest of the day. All in all, it was kind of nice.

But I still totally want to get out of the house and do something.
