To tell the truth, I’ve come to sorta miss the Chumpster’s cementheaded attempts to turn every issue into a wrestling match between the plutocrats and the proles. Maybe this version will learn a thing or two before the inevitable meltdown occurs, maybe not, but looks like some quality entertainment ahead.

Huh. I actually agree with some of Aldebaran’s points in the second thread, but the attitude is obnoxious in the extreme. He (?) is so certain that all Americans are provincial, stupid, and unworldly. None of us have ever studied a second language.

You may be a rather intelligent person in your own right, but this board has one or two intelligent people on it already. Not that you’re not welcome, but that you may want to present your arguments a little better. Why not try lurking for a while, reading various Great Debates, seeing how things work? There’s no reason for you to get on everyone’s bad side right from the start.

From al-dabarn, “the follower”, because the star appears to follow the Pleiades in the sky.
