Rabbit stew for EVERYBODY!- Pics of (real) 4 foot long rabbit

Giant Rabbit Is As Big As 3-Year-Old

Looks big, but they should have placed some common objects near him to give a sense of size. Kinda hard to tell just how big he is just using the woman as a reference point (since we don’t know how big she is).

Still, neat.

There a 10 picture slideshow available if you click on it

This one with the woman’s hands on the rabbit gives some perspective . It’s about the size of a medium sized dog.

I agree with Hal, if they wanted us to know how big it was, they ought to have put him next to something that has a fairly regulated size, like a phone book, or something. Except for the last couple of pictures, there was very little sense of how big he was.

“Thet’s noo ourdinery rebbit! It’s a killah!”

Beware the ky00t.

My thought was that they should put the rabbit next to a 3 year old child, since that was the basis for comparison. And then I imagined the rabbit going apeshit on the kid, Monty Python style. Not good times.

But are we talking a German kid, or a Chinese kid? Cause you know there’s gonna be a big difference in size depending on the breed of kid.

THE ABOVE IS A JOKE.

Ach - even the 10 picture slideshow doesn’t really show anything for comparison.

I call shenanigans.

I think I’ll pass on the offer of rabbit stew. I don’t like hare in my food.

…If your three year old is a little wussy-boy girly-man!

My kid ain’t even 3 and would stomp that rodent into the turf, Depression-Era-boxing-style! And not a pound of fat on him, either! He goes about 36 lbs. and 38 inches.

I hate rabbits. They kill my trees.

I don’t know, man. Did anyone else notice how that rabbit has a sort of crazed look in it eye. That rabbit looks about ready to snap.

Monty Python style??

Have we learned nothing from *Night of the Lepus?*

THis thread made me laugh and remember why I love the SD and all y’all. Where’s the object to show perspective so that we can judge relative size? Where’s the three year old child? In the name of all that is holy, how can we judge if it’s REALLY as big as a three year old child if you don’t show us a three year old child for comparison? We are ever a tribe of questioners in seach of proof.

Isn’t that the breed of rabbitt seen ambling about in Teletubbies?

My Dad had a Flemish Giant and I thought it was a dog the first time I saw it.

They get huge. Much larger than any cat, and stronger.

Heh heh heh FCM.

That rabbit was in the papers here last week and the pictures were better. It really is huge.

Thanks, Cicero, I was feeling ignored…
