What's the deal with that "Worm in the hole" gif?

I see it almost exclusively on Christian MBs or LJs of obviously Christian people (meaning, they make it a point to say they're Chrsitian).

Not really a GQ in the strictest sense, because I'm asking for opinions or personal reasons why so many Xtians use it and why I've never seen it anywhere outside of Xtian based interwebby stuffeses. You know what I mean.

On a related note...

On my board, I have need of a small, repeat, small, vomit smiley. However, I need one unique thing from it. It has to have a little dog come up to chow down on the chunks that get spewed. As one of my members said, "It's good to have standards."
