I Googled, obviously it’s something sexual, but I don’t want to click on any of those icky-looking links.
Mom I’d Like to F**k
It’s from the movie American Pie. It stands for “Mom I’d Like to Fuck.”
Basically, it’s when one of your friends has an attractive mother.
Mother I’d Like to Fool Around with. Or something like that
Milfa
Its used alot more often to describe single mothers in their 20s.
And thirties. And forties.
Yeah. I remember a 30 year old MILF I went to college with.
Well, if it was in the past tense, wouldn’t the term be M.I.W.L.T.H.F.? M.I.S.H.F.?
The saying had already been around for years and years before American Pie came out. In my circle, it was never applied to any of my friend’s moms, just hot women you’d see out on the street with a kid.
For future reference - I find Urbandictionary.com indispensable for terms/acronyms that Acronymfinder.com won’t/can’t find.
One night during a ski trip to VT a couple years ago, and was out at a restaurant with some friends of a friend who worked at a big Nordic skiing center. They said the part of the job they loved the most were the youth races, because they could ogle the “yummy mummies”.
“The what?” I asked.
“The yummmy mummmies!”, they drooled. “The hot women who come to watch their kids ski. God, some of them, they’re so sexy.”
All I could think was: That is so wrong.
Whats so wrong about it? I work with kids at my part time jobs, and I see hot moms all the time. Granted, I don’t act like a total lecher around them, but I don’t see anything wrong with finding mothers in their 20’s/30’s sexually attractive.
You know what? I’ve seen a few of these “MILF” sites and I dunno.
No stretch marks, no variciose veins, buff and toned, all over tans, pubes trimmed or shaved…
And then there’s the Mothers…
When living at the Outer Banks, I managed a 19 year old surfer kid. I had never heard the term “MILF” before he explained it to me, this was 1995. Often uttured under his breath to a MILF:
“Hey mother, want another?”
My understanding is that a woman doesn’t get to be a MILF just by having a kid. A 23 year old wouldn’t be correct in calling Kate Hudson a MILF; she’s a mother and an attractive woman, but she’s only 25. A true MILF is a woman old enough to be your mother (regardless of her actual childbearing status); the same 23 year old might consider Sheryl Crow a proper MILF at age 41, even though she has never had a child.
