Other than the fact that it is now a baby (and to my mind always was), this might be the sickest APB I have ever seen. “Calling all cars, be on the lookout for a baby that looks freshly ripped from a woman’s body, likely covered with blood and possibly already dead”.
And to the person/people who did this: You will be caught. People tend to notice a baby showing up one day. They also tend to notice that you now have a baby even though you were never pregnant (or your girlfriend/wife wasn’t ever pregnant). You also tend to give yourself away with constant laments about babies that you apparently can’t have, and a baby suddenly showing up is just a bit too coincidental.
You will be caught, and when you are, I think we should cut out your heart.
Criminy, I thought Macduff’s line to Macbeth, “I am of no woman born, I was from my mother’s womb untimely ripped!” was just literary license. HTF are they going to care for a premature baby without proper medical equipment?
Nope, Macduff was a c-section, or so the director told me in college.
“8 months” is a nebulous phrase and is probably being used instead of a more accurate and more useful week count so the police can verify calls. If someone calls about a 40 week infant, it’s obviously the wrong one.
8 months can mean anywhere from 32 weeks, which probably, but not always, needs a ventilator and warmer but not much else, to 36 weeks, which needs a slap on the butt and a kiss, but probably no intervention.
Yah, that line reminded me of a saint called San Ramón Nonato (St Raymond the Unborn): his mother died of other causes and the father figured that, since she was very pregnant, maybe he could still save the baby. The baby evidently survived.
I’m against the death penalty as a matter of general principle, but cases like these make me wish I belonged to a better species. Like E. Coli.
Her poor mother… finding her shy daughter slain and her grandaughter carved out of the body. No one should be forced to contemplate something so horrific.
What a lame statement. Think PURPLE, dude…not the “Red” and “Blue” that you are trying to imply here. Violence is dependent on the person who does it, not where he/she lives.
