Desperate Housewives 5/1 - SPOILERS

What, 4 hours (CDT) and no thread yet? Oh well, I’ll start one.

In a hotly contested race, Zack oveartakes Andrew as the creepiest teen.

Wisteria is apparently in Fairview, which is close to Mount Pleasant.

George the Pharmacist buys a gun and joins a shooting club. OK, I made that part up, but that is where he is headed.

Paul is getting really creepy as well. Lock your doors at night.

Mike is on to Paul - will he put the pieces together in time to save Susan? Mrs. Huber’s sister is also getting there, but is she sympathetic to the situation and unlikely to blow the whistle? Or does she have blackmail in mind?

Zack goes shopping for a trenchcoat, auto-loading shotgun and a hacksaw. OK, I made that part up, too, but it’s about what I expect. Time to evacuate Wisteria.

A great moment: Gabby in the Pharmacy restroom: “Son of a Bitch!!!”

Lynnette better get her insecurities under control - Tom is cracking under the stress.

Ditto Sophie/Susan.

We now know the Angela/Mary Alice/Dana/Zack backstory. Was Paul the husband? Might there be more to the story?

Deirdre was a private investigator? Did she have any connection to the junkie mother of Dana/Zack?

Lynnette goes to Edie for “Predator” advice…

Gabby dumps on the Priest again - he must regret his career choice.

Paul pulls ahead of Bree in the “psychologically abusive parent” race: “You’re not that special, Zack”. [cf. the intro: Susan wanted to be a mother in the “worst possible way”, and achieved that honor].

Zack blew up Susan’s house.

Bree still creeps me out.

Susan goes to Richard Roundtree for help??? Yeah, he may know a thing or two about Paul…

The closer: Zack, in bed, with a lighter…

This show is ramping up the intensity…

Uh, wasn’t that how he appealed to Bree in the first place? Heh heh.

I hope so. I thought I saw a significant look cross sis’s face when Mrs. Huber said that the Youngs had a baby boy. And then… and then… you know. Maybe I oughtta set that crow in a nice marinade.

I thought that Bree was hotter than ever in this episode. Yow. I like creepy women, though.

I loved Gabby in the car dealers’. “I want a cute little Spider. But not that one, because I vomited in it.” “Of course. I’ll get you a fresh one.” Nice.

Also, “I’m pregnant and it’s all your fault!” Right, sweetie. Try and put that across when Carlos notices that the top of his newborn’s head smells just like freshly-mown grass.

She creeps you out? I think she’s adorable.

No matter who the father is, it’s still his fault. If he hadn’t been tampering with her birth control bills, it wouldn’t have been an issue.

Yeah, but she specifically said “It’s all your fault.” Which isn’t entirely true.

She chose not to use a jimmy with her boy-toy, which wasn’t very bright, oral contraception or no. The pill doesn’t work 100% of the time, and teenage boys are a great vector for STDs. He’s culpable too.

That’s not to minimize the incredible assholishness on the part of her husband, of course.

I thought that was Paul, not Zach.

Do they need two story lines with obsessive guys?

Thanks for the brain-jog. A guy who gives a gun to a woman with whom he hopes to have an affair, but who doesn’t know how to handle said gun, is particularly creepy.

I’m thinking that the plumber guy Mike is Zach’s father.–The “girl who was on drugs” and had her baby stolen is Mike’s old g/f–the stolen baby is Zach–the girl on drugs came looking for her kid–so Paul and the narrator killed her and put her in the trunk?

It might be very obvious and I’m just catching on, or maybe I’m way off–that show is hard to follow:)

I had to revive this thread so I could post this link.

Naughty, naughty Zack.
