Anyway, we found out that Zach is a kidnapped baby from a drug addict. I still think 1)His mother is Dierdre 2)His father is Mike and 3)Mike doesn’t know he has a son.
I think Zach is the one who set Susan’s kitchen on fire.
I think once the new pharmacist fills Rex’s prescription at the higher dosage he’s going to end up in the hospital with an overdose.
Tom is right. Lynette better trust him or prepare for him to live up to her suspicions.
Bree is very smart. I can’t believe she thinks George doesn’t still have the hots for her.
Actually, three months, not three weeks. But as usual, Lynette goes overboard.
I think Paul told Zach it was a private investigator, but he’s a murderer, so I think it’s safe to assume he’s not that uncomfortable with lying, either. The police found Diedre in the toy chest, Paul admits he put the woman in the toy chest, so I think Dierdre is the mother.
But Tom did cheat on Lynette. Or at least he admitted to his dad that he did Something Bad right after Lynette said she would take the kids and leave him if he ever cheated on her.
I hope Mike is not Zach’s dad, it’s too contrived and tidy of an ending. Zach is getting really psycho now so it’s hard to feel sorry for him anymore.
So, has Carlos in effect nullified the pre-nup? I thought Gabrielle said something about a “no kids” clause in there. Those two have the most manipulative relationship.
Glad Mike and Susan are talking again. Yup, I agree, I think Zach set that blaze. That’s not something Rex would do; he’s trying to avoid suspicion. HOLY COW!! Susan went to the same PI that Rex went to!
I’m glad you brought this up. I was thinking about this after the show ended.
Lynette is a very strong woman with firm opinions. I’m a bit surprised her confidence level is so low. And the more I thought about it, the more I thought… y’know… people (women and men alike) in relationships where they have low self confidence only in the area of infidelity; it isn’t always their fault. Sometimes the spouse or SO sets it up that way. For example: If you’re with someone who is constantly flirting, who tells you all the time about some random man or woman hitting on them, essentially how desireable they are and how they can get anyone at any time…then you’re going to be unsure. We’re always so quick to pawn it off on the person who’s worried their spouse may be cheating. And, we’ve already seen that Tom has a secret (ep where he told his father he had a problem.) Plus, Lynette took him away from this woman, so she knows in the back of her head that he can be swayed.
Just my $.02
If Gabrielle is so concerned about the pregnancy . . . why doesn’t she get an abortion? She might be Catholic but she’s already violating church teachings with an adulterous relationship and usage of the pill.
I am not trying to imply that having an abortion is an easy decision.
Hmm. The Disney factor is a definitive consideration. On the other hand. Gabbi’s involved in an adulterous relationship. Carlos cheats at business. Bree’s husband likes kinky sex with the local whore. Lynette took pills while watching her children. Most of the characters showcased aren’t exactly candidates for sainthood.
You’re probably right about the abortion. I respect this show because I like good drama and excellent acting. But the show’s not really a darling of the Religious Right to begin with.
I liked this episode. A lot of second tier characters got face time – Edie, Paul, Zach, Julie, Felicia and Martha Huber, Tom, Carlos and Bree’s creepy pharmacist guy-
Anyone notice? Richard Roundtree’s detective character is named HAFTS.
I missed the first half because I opted to watch Family Guy. From reading the posts here I don’t think I missed much. I think I’m losing interest for the same reason others have stated, none of the characters are very likable anymore.
The ending with Zach’s little shrine to Susan’s daughter was very creepy. Sorry I can’t recall her name right now.
I loved the party scene with the pool dunk, the pregnancy revelation, and the “girlfriend.” Also found it funny when Gabi threw up in the snazzy car and they had to find her a “fresh” one.
Whatever became of Rex and Bree’s daughter? We hardly ever see her anymore.
