This is an act of whimsy on my part, but I'd like to test the infamous Disney Hypothesis, namely "It's a small world after all."

A friend of mine who attends West Virginia University is doing a semester abroad in Wellington at some university there. I was wondering if any of the Wellington Dopers had bumped into a blonde American gal studying biology while out on walkabout, or whatever it is you folks do there.*

I was in Wellington recently and I remember giving directions to one blond American woman. She looked like a tourist though, so she probably wasn't your friend.

I see blonde women every day (uh, here in Wellington), but I don't always think to ask 'em if they study Biology ...

If she plays a sport and was at Uni Games a few weeks back, maybe I saw her in Auckland. If she plays ultimate and has been to any ultimate tournaments during her semester chances are really good that I've met her. Otherwise, maybe I will run into her if I actually do decide to hitchhike to Wellington for a day or two between the end of term and my first exam (aka study week - but, studying for a whole week seems ridiculous to me).
