Mundane Pointless Stuff I Must Share is the name of this forum and in addition to this thread being better suited to it than one for questions about the workings of the message board, it’s also more likely Bricker would stumble across it here.
No Mod PMS above. If, and I’m just guessing, Gaudere had to “remove your other threads”, it’s simply because posting like threads across different forums is discouraged here. With them deleted I’m again just guessing that’s what happened. Gaudere is, however, decidedly a peach.
It might have something to do placing a copy of your OP in multiple forums. If you’d taken a moment to read the registration agreement, you’d have noticed it explicitly forbids such behavior. Here, and pretty much everywhere else on the 'Net, this is called “spamming.”
This term is defined right on the front page for the forums. It is hardly unreasonable to expected that when someone shows up here and posts for the first time, they’d take a moment to read the forum descriptions so they’d know the proper place to put their post. But again, you were in the process of spamming us, so I guess those descriptions mattered not to you anyway.
You’re being disingenuous. Need I repeat, a third time, that you were in the process of apparently placing your message in each of our nine forums. So saying that you were following the forum description for ATMB (About This Message Board) is a pale justification.
I cannot PM Bricker, we do not have private messaging set up. I can email him, however.
I removed your other threads since more than one thread on the exact same subject in a forum is considered spamming. I did not realize the ATMB thread was a practice post.
Shhhhhhhhhh! Oh, yes, a mighty fine wizard! Do you mean to tell me Bricker is holding out on everyone here? He can cast spells that will send you to good places, and if you’re bad, watch out… he’ll banish you! He was a powerful pinnacle wizard and he only got banished once! (Or was it twice?) He was the legal council wizard if I remember correctly. Or, was it the politics glutton? Naw, that was some other wizard.
Ahh, but if you’ve been to Pyroto, that is a common term, and the message targets a specific group of people here. If one didn’t know what TSOTL was, he was in big trouble. If only Pyroto would return! Then I could invite you all there to take over a mountain and introduce you to TSOTL and start another war. I know you would have loved it!
YEsss… I did figure it out, believe it or not, I did. Hence my first reply. However, to pass up the opportunity to point out that a new person may not understand jargon you are all familiar with, I added a bit of humor.
But I like Moderator PMS better… As I come back more and more, you may learn of my facetious nature. :wally I will always call Gaudere the one with Moderator PMS from hence forth.
