My username there is JeannieEatsZucchini. Is anyone else bothered by the fact that they force you to post messages there? Plus, I was on early this afternoon, got kicked off (I ran out of manna…whatever), and I’m trying to get back on now, but it says I’m still out of manna. WTF?? I may not have the patience to stick around there. Plus the spirit thingie never likes my messages.

There appears to be a way to make some sort of league or squad. I don’t remember the spell names right now, but it says groups with similar interests can team up together to help each other up the mountian… I’m thinking maybe we can designate a specific mountain as the “Doper’s” mountain. We could all “migrate” to it. I don’t know if that is a good idea yet though, as I am still learning a ton.
Both Rory and I (the wizard Bricker, doncha know) are on Restlach.
I’m not exactly enamoured of the game, but I think there’s some value in lots of click-throughs from the SDMB… so I’m in it, at least as long as I can stand it.
Without sounding too provincial, I would invite all SDMB players to show up on Restlach and we’ll see about creating the Teeming Millions Clan, or something - eh?

You regain manna every 24 hours. So if you’re out, you have to wait a full day to recharge your batteries, so to speak.
As to the Spirit thingy, he likes messages that are long, and contain no spelling or grammatical errors. Locquaciousness is thus encouraged.
When I try to log in, it tells me that my wizard is already logged on. “While this may suggest that someone else has your password…” OK…
I always try to do things in chronological order.
Rick–The manna thing bugged me because I went on early this morning (well, yesterday morning, I guess), ran out of manna, waited a few hours, went back, ran out of manna, and late tonight I couldn’t get back in. Now I just tried and it said to wait two hours. Whatever.
As for the posts, now that I know there’s others on Restlach who (whom?) I know, I’ll try to make longer posts. I just didn’t have anything to say before.
Geez, it’s late. I hope that made sense.

Hey, I’m on Restlach (as ShadowKat–Kat was taken) too. I’ve posted one long annoying message. And I got kicked off because of patience or something like that this afternoon. It told me I could come back in 4 hours, but I went out instead.

I’m GurnB on Imaz, and Migrate seems to be a high Manna spell. If I can either save or ahem receive enough manna to make the trip, I’ll be glad to participate.

Okay, guys, if I ever get back there, I’ll look you up. I tried getting on about 30 minutes ago. It told me that I had no manna, and to wait 24 hours. Keep in mind, I logged off of there early yesterday afternoon, and haven’t gotten back in since then. So, I just tried again now, to see if I’ve gained manna. It told me to wait over three hours. Apparently, it counts my attempts to log on towards actual time there. I’ll try once more (tonight or tomorrow). If it doesn’t let me in, I give up. How do they expect you to get addicted to this game if they don’t let you play?
Not to turn this into a pit thread, but why do you have to wait 4 hours to log on after a disconnect. What if your ISP boots you ? What if someone picks up the wrong phone ? What if your browser or OS crashes ? Pyroto just taunts you with things like ‘Oblio, you have over 2 more hours to wait’ so it is not waiting for a cleanup daemon to come around.

To migrate, you must attain at least level 16 on your home mountain, and let the manna stack up. It looks to be about 615 manna to go from Pyroto to Restlech.
No idea what the cost from other mountains might be.
But hey - all the cool kids are on Restlech
One other note:
To get back to Pyroto mountain, come to the SDMB, wait for the ad to come up, and click through. The whole purpose of this is to give the Reader some good click-through numbers.
