MS Word prints a .png image mirrored and upside down. How? Why?

A coworker printed out a document with a bunch of images and one (just one) has been flipped. There is some text in it and if you hold it up to the light you can read it from the back upside down. WTF? It’s the right way round on the screen, obviously. Has anyone else seen this happen?

Is there something about the file format that makes it prone to this?

Can’t answer your question, but to fix it I’d just open the file in Photoshop or Paint (does it do PNG yet?), change one pixel, and resave.
