#3:Roger Waters? I don’t know “Gingerbread”, but “Glitterati” is from The Fletcher Memorial Home (… anonymous Latin-American meat-packing glitterati…) and “Incontrovertible” is from The Trial (…the evidence before the court is incontrovertible, there’s no need for the jury to retire…)
Is that right?
Just a question for Gigi and want2know are your artists staying with the R&R HOF theme? If not maybe a little clue as to what genre we should think in.
[spoiler]MrSquishy got the other ones, but “gingerbread” is from Bike…
“I’ve got a clan of gingerbread men
Here a man
There a man
Lots of gingerbread men
Take a couple if you wish
They’re on the dish”
I’ve got no deeds to do, on promises to keep, I’m dappled and drowsy and ready to sleep let the morning time drop all its petals on me. Live I love you, all is grooooovy.
R.E.M. “Transit” is from Radio Free Europe, “Bushwacked” is from Drive, “Lester Bangs” is mentioned in It’s the End of the World (As We Know It), and “Asp” is from Man on the Moon.
Steely Dan. Oleander is the giveaway, that’s from “My Old School.” Kerosene is from “Kid Charlemagne.” Zombie is from “Haitian Divorce,” although I first thought of “All You Zombies.” Can’t think offhand of where Blueprint is from.
