We will now, exchange White Elephant gifts.

The basics are this.

You email me, the host of the White Elephant Exchange

You provide the following information.

Your Dope Name
Your Real Name
Your address where you will receive your package.

Also indicate if you can ship to another country. I will try to keep people grouped by country but just in case…

I will close up the registration for this at midnight, October 29th. Oh Halloween you will get an email with the name and address of the person where your elephant will migrate. Please get your gift in the mail/UPS within a week.
The deal.

We are exchanging White Elephant gifts. What is a White Elephant? A gift of a White Elephant is something that is rare and wonderful. It boggels the mind. It stirs the imagination. It costs an arm and leg to take care of, and it is frankly kind of smelly.

You will give away, something, that is so cool that you couldn’t possibly throw it away, but yet, you can’t stand to have it in your house for one moment longer. Preferably something large scale. It is not a box of junk for now there is a second condition to this exchange.

You will receive such a gift and, as part of the exchange, you agree that you will display said gift in your home or office with pride until the end of this year.

So send something cool and weird to your fellow doper.

This gift exchange is not for the faint at heart. BEWARE! Don’t do it! It only leads to madness and tears.
This is only open to registered dopers. Sorry guests. But we need to know that you are committed to the idea of sending stuff out. Nothing worse then not getting a white elephant.
