Software for archiving webmail?
I have a yahoo mail account. I'd like to back up my emails onto my computer. Is there a piece of software that will automatically archive your web-based emails?
Thanks, An Gadaí |

I was wondering the same thing. I think you probably could use one of the Firefox download managers to get all the emails in one folder though.

If you're willing to plonk down $19.99 a year for Yahoo Mail Plus, you get to access your mail using POP, which would allow you to download all your messages into a client like Outlook or Thunderbird and archive them on your computer. Mail Plus also has a built-in archiving tool. Alternatively, some folks have reported success getting their free Yahoo account to download via POP to an email client using YPOPs. |

I might, when I get some funds together, pay the $19.99. Otherwise, I'll just spend a lazy Sunday copying and pasting the emails I want.
