Difference in Color In Comic Strips

I was just wondering this

If you go to a site like

Family Circus (You have to go to files and look for recent cartoons in color.)

Then you see a comic strip

But then if you go to a site like

Family Circus at Arcamax

(you have to scroll to the bottom to get the same date)

You get the same cartoon but it's colored differently

Why the difference in the color? I assume sites like Aracmax get the cartoon straight from main website.

I have also seen this on other comic strips?

And what is the difference in colors? Is it a tint issue.

I was just wondering WHY the difference?
