I see no reason to continue here for obvious reasons. I’m an infrequent poster, but a constant reader over the last 10 years. I mostly babbled about Lost and played Mafia a few times. I’ve enjoyed the last decade of mostly reading and frequently learning things. Rick was probably the best of you people, frequently giving me awsome advice for my shitty car. The mafia nerds were second. I don’t have a lot to say and I need to get to work soon, so we’ll leave it at that.

Also, I should probably apologize to Q.E.D. for pitting him that one time. He deserved it, but he takes way more shit than he deserves.

And yes, I know, door, ass, etc. I’ll not bitch in my last pit thread, but just say thanks to those who I kind of liked over the years. Also visit Top Dog.

Oh yeah, that one person who said to read “Replay”, thanks for that too. That was one of the best books I ever read. OK then. Bye, fuckers :slight_smile:

Well, I’m not going to quit, but I doubt I’m going to continue to pay. I was already considering not paying, I must admit, but this seals the deal. I don’t really need them to block ads for me, I mainly paid to support the board. The board is just too broken, both in software and in rules, for me to support it any longer.

Because those of us tho don’t post a lot still read plenty. And the new rules will drastically affect what we get out of that.

I feel you. I’ve been here a while, kept my membership when it went to paid subscriptions, but these new Pit rules might be it for me. I honestly don’t know whose utterly moronic idea this shit was, but I’m fairly certain it’s going to ruin this place completely.

This. I’m a veteran lurker and The Pit was one of my favorite places to visit. I’ll stick around a bit to see how things shake out, but The Reader won’t be seeing another dime from me. I know, they care deeply. It shows.
