This would have been a great place to stop. Jerkiness is a matter of opinion and few would have disagreed with that.
I have thousands of spots on every topic that doesn’t include Barbra Streisand and/or green beans, both if which I hate. Maybe I am just covering my tracks, but 5K posts to cover a dozen is a bit of a stretch. The claim that my primary reason to be here is to complain is preposterous.
I think this has been explained sufficiently, both by me and by others. Quoting that one line out of context is disingenuous. If you read the post in full, it is clear that I was explaining that I am not one to accpet the ostrich treatment that some here like so much. The term “persistent asshole” was just echoing the term used by the person I was replying to.
This comment without link or context means nothing. If I may, that thread was a response to having had one thread of mine deleted with no explanation. That thread was in turn asking about a pitting of mine (not even a pitting, but a thread asking about a member’s state of wellbeing) also deleted without explanation. It was later claimed that they were deleted because by asking about them I was just trying to sneak a revisit of the original topic. That that was not the case was made clear when someone else asked about the threads deletions and we discussed it for pages without the original matter being revisited.
Again, a comment with no link or context. Shouldn’t “evidence” be you know, evident? Funny choice of words, btw. It is not like this is a system of justice where a case needs to be made and supported with evidence to convince a judge or jury.
In any case, that you are digging 2 year old stuff makes clear how flimsy your case is. I have no idea what those PMs said, but I retract them, whatever they were. I really don’t know or care.
And “abusive” as a bad thing was not in the rules then.

3 and 5 are not complaining. They are asking a straight question. Both of them were politely asked and politely responded. Isn’t that how this is supposed to work?
Actually and speaking of polite answers, notice how in 5 Colibri sneaks one of his usual drive by whines straddling the poster-mod line. And how in 2 while people are politely discussing a tangent of the topic, CKDH barges in, tells me to “get a grip” and locks the thread. Also notice how I didn’t raise a stink about either which would be the obvious thing to do if I were here just to complain about the administration.
4 was not complaining either. Also a straight question by invite of a mod. Then all different kinds of bad modding turned it into a 3-thread 13-page trainwreck where just about everyone, admin fans and foes alike piled on the PTB for their poor choices.
2 and 1 are, of course, not recreational since they are directly about poor modding actions on my person and not really separate issues since they are just the fallout of 4
6 was not recreational either. Lynn made a very poor mod decision and I was challenging it. The proof that I was not just picking a nit is that it turned to a 7 page disaster that ended up in this whole mess of the new Pit rules.
So from your list, we are just left with the Lynn-Euth-NPRA catastrophe, probably the most influential shitstorm of recent times (and where my role is minimal at best) and the Colibri-Butthurt extravaganza which started as a simple ATMB query and cascaded into monumental ridiculousness by sheer force of bad modding. Hardly a case for a pattern of troublemaking.
Very indicative indeed of the attitude we’ve been dealing with of mods wanting to straddle the line between being moderators and posters and expecting moderator protection when they misbehave as posters. Lynn told me that neener-neener as a poster and I told her off with neither a threat nor a sexual allusion, so even under new rules, that held water like a basketball net.
This is the only truly pertinent rule. If you don’t want me, I will go without asking why. Just don’t try to cover a personal decision of not liking me under the pretense of broken rules.
I don’t know if this was on purpose but it really made me smile. If it was, I don’t need to explain what I mean. If it wasn’t then it’s not funny enough for me to explain it and nm.
I really hope this post was kosher under whatever rules happen to be in place when I hit submit, but if you need to suspend me for two more weeks, I will be in Disney. Woot!
