For some reason I’d thought he was already dead.
Loved the guy. He’s lucky to have lived as long as he did. I remember Johnny Carson gently chiding him over his weight on The Tonight Show twenty-five or thirty years ago and pointing out that we’d all like him to stick around for awhile.

He would have been a good candidate for “Dead or Canadian?”

Oh well. I always liked him in any movie he was in. Seemed like a decent guy and he made me laugh.

Friend of mine worked with him very briefly a few years back. Said he was an amazingly down-to-earth guy who could have you laughing your butt off without seeming to try that hard. He’ll be missed.

Not to malign the dead, but though he was married with kids he was widely known to be gay and had some harassment allegations over the years from male extras.
I wonder whether Burt or Loni will get custody of the remains.
