![]() Anyway, here are a few I've dug up recently: At a train station in Michigan City, Indiana, waiting for a train to Chicago. I'm the one doing the silly dance on the yellow post. At a party, being generally nerdy. I'm the guy covered in white plastic. ![]() Foosball. Awesome! The same party, after loosening up a bit. Again at the party, this time embarrassing myself completely. Notice how only a couple other people are dancing, and everybody else is standing at the edges looking horrified? We were doing the macarena. Out of sync, even. Later on I redeemed myself by doing a pretty awesome breakdancing routine (which is a considerable achievement in the armor, let me tell you!), but sadly nobody caught it on film that I'm aware of. Naturally it's mainly the embarrassing stuff that winds up immortalized for posterity.

I only have fishing related pictures but here are a few.
Hiking into a lake somewhere near Malibu They just can't keep their hands off me. We're in Santa Barbara. Wading out in Goleta. That's a dolphin in the background. |

I think Shirley was inspired by my thread. So I will link again from here...it's the only image of me that is on the internet at all at the moment (that I know of, I seem to recall some news and promotional shots floating around but I don't know where.) and it's 20 years old but hey, it's VIDEO! 90 seconds of Stoid (and her ass, which is sufficiently substantial to rate having its own separate identity) winning a game show. Although I was the only one to win the game, my ass was just tagging along and basking in my glory.

Jeez! Fine! :P (those were all taken in the last 3 years) I won a bunch of cheap crap and $2600. I thought it was less then I watched the video and remembered that the little signs on the bank thing indicate how much money was at stake. I was also considering posting the only "sexy" picture of me that is actually sexy, taken by an actual professional photographer, also taken relatively recently, and also featuring my ass, interestingly enough. But then the drugs wore off. |

Shirley, you guys look sharp in your fancy duds.
![]() Rushgeek, I looooove the hair. I used to have hair that colour too, once upon a time, and I probably still would if it wasn't for my stuffy corporate job. Stoid, that layered peach pastel frock is a masterpiece of early 80s fashion. Totally awesome. ![]() As for me... here are a couple from a recent trip to BC and Nova Scotia: The Boy's uncle dragged us up the Grouse Grind the day after we arrived. I'm still a little foggy on how I made it to the top without collapsing. Here I am providing scale for a tree in the Cathedral Grove. And from the opposite coast, here's one of me striking a pose at Peggy's Cove, squinting into the wild blue yonder. |

It's before. An "after" pic would have been of deep space...vast areas of nothing between objects...where sound doesn't exist. That meltdown turned into a 24-hour cold shoulder. We were so loud and bad that the other shoppers pretty much gave us the aisle while we battled it out!

Wow. I have never ever seen that video before. It's fascinating! It shows the rail approach to the old station in downtown Ottawa, next to the canal. That was destroyed long before I ever went to Ottawa. Paging [b[]Spoons[/b]!

Either way, I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone who doesn't have a masochistic streak a mile wide... it involves hellacious amounts of time spent in airplanes and airports, neither of which I'm all that fond of, even if it is slightly more comfortable than the Buster Keaton approach. (how and why we ended up doing two opposite ends of the country in one go is a looooong story, which I won't bore you with... suffice to say it involves family and non-refundable plane tickets) |

Me in Spain, two months ago No, I'm not standing in a river of blood; that's one of the sources of Spains Red River, colored red with iron... Same vacation, Roman theatre.. (I'm hiding as much of me as possible behind my husband..) Faithfool, you look cute! That red hair looks good on you. Last edited by Maastricht; 06-15-2009 at 02:11 PM. |

Yeahhh ....about the hair....
It runs in my family. The daughter: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3624/...aab271d93a.jpg This is me without the blue hair: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3420/...06a7a570b5.jpg Oddly I still have that sneaky smirk even with the red curls. |

Thanks Shirley! ![]() Oh, you have no idea. The whole time I set there going, "I could touch his hair." and then I'd start to swoon a little and figured that wouldn't be the best of ideas. ![]() What, me or looking like Alice at 61? ![]() Awww, just another reason I adore you. You like my red hair. Thank you. And in case I didn't make it clear enough with my initial post, I think all you people are just terrific. What a fine looking group you all are. |

And no, the top is not homemade. I picked it up a couple of summers ago in a shop in Toronto's Little India district... it met my usual requirements of cute, comfy and cheap. Shouldn't be hard to replicate at home, though. BurdaStyle even has a very similar pattern you can download for cheap. Rushgeek, blue hair is even better when you can put it back in the closet when you're in the mood for something a bit less Smurfy. And It's pretty neat as far as family heirlooms go, too.
