NFL games on-line?
Why the hell doesn't the NFL stream their games to North America?
Of course there's this really clunky Sopcast/TVAnts setup out there that you can illegally stream the games with really shitty video quality. MLB smartened up and are making a killing off of streaming all of their games (in HD no less). WTF is wrong with the NFL? This is so frustrating. Unless I buy DirecTV or go to a bar, there is absolutely no way I can watch my team play. |

Strangely, I just watched the Steelers-Titans game live on free-to-air TV in here in Brisbane, Australia. First game I've watched since I left the US thirty-nine years ago. A pretty good game it was, too.

There are multiyear TV contracts involved, and I'm sure they have some sort of exclusivity agreements. During the offseason NFL offered a pay service where you could watch the games from last year on their site. I don't know if they'll be doing something similar this year, or how good the service was.

You can watch the games on a delay at nfl.com/gamerewind, but it's a pay service. All the Sunday night games were streamed live at NBCsports.com and NFL.com (free) last year, but I don't know if they're doing it this year.
