I think the original recording was a female singer. It has been used in a commercial with a male re-recording, though.
I think it is recent, probably the last five years.
I think the opening line is “I’m a brand new soul in a great big world…” dah-dah-DAH-dah dah-dah-DAH-dah dah-dah-dah.
I’m woefully ignorant of pop music in the last ten years, so I’m hoping this is an easy one for everybody… the singer (both female and male) has a sort of soulful, sensitive sound to the voice.
