My friend Tommy doesn’t always make sense, and he’s tough to undrestand on the phone, but somehow we do both COMMUNICATE.

I’m planning a trip back home to Germany (should have told y’all) for the first time since my diagnosis, and the whole thing about “how are they gonna take knowing this?”, was just getting to me, I reckon.

This (The Dope) was the only place I knew where I could vent and let my feelings be known, so I did.

Hey Quasi! Whereabouts in Germany will you be traveling? I’ve been to Frankfurt, Friedburg, and Heidelburg. I’ve also been on a Rhine River cruise. My son spent a year in Hannover as an exchange student. We’ve loved every minute of it.

If you don’t speak German, my most-used phrase was “ein bier, bitte”. :smiley:
