Yeah, that might be it for me. I actually switched to something else while watching my recording, then never switched back. It's just not interesting anymore. The only good part was the young Asian doctor talking about hitting 30 dudes, and even that seemed forced and out of character.

Didn't care for the episode at first, but it gradually got my interest. The little notes were cute. But I wanted to see more of the celibate couple, and less of the PotW. And yes, you can count on Park to come up with something "out of character" . . . meaning of course that she's more than 2-dimensional.

I fell asleep about halfway through. What ended up being the explanations for the PotW and the asexual woman?

PotW

SPOILER:
He had a sore throat and took some aspirin for it. Because he also had Alzheimer's, he then realized he had a sore throat and took some aspirin for it. Then he realized he had a sore throat...well, you get the idea.

Asexual guy

SPOILER:
He had a tumor on one of his hormone producing glands that lowered his libido and gave him ED. We didn't see the couple after the surgery, but the woman admitted that sex was "actually kind of fun" and that she said she was asexual because she loved her husband so much.

The index cards on the bottoms of the chairs were Classic House.

And the wet gum House left for Foreman to find on the bottom of the chair was UBER Classic House.

The worst part of this season is Foreman in Cuddy's old job. Princeton-Plainsboro was REALLY scraping the bottom of the barrel.

And that was shown in the millionaire? billionaire's? reluctance to invest in the hospital due to its lower ranking. So maybe part of Foreman's approving of House losing his ankle bracelet is the realization that he needs for House to be unleashed in order to get the diagnostic department back to running at full speed.("The bike goes faster if you remove the training wheels.") I see Foreman's temporary rejoining the team as a way to evaluate House more closely and observe whether he was ready to get his bracelet removed.

But he [Foreman] also knows that he has to either be Black Cuddy or be one of House's bitches, he can't do both. Not just because he physically doesn't have the time for it, not just because there would be a conflict of interest on almost every case but because House will tear him to shreds. The mind games he played during just this week...Foreman wouldn't last a month trying to fill both roles and he knows it.
I'm still thinking that Cuddy leaving might mean the end of the series. Cuddy and House really played off each other well and I doubt they'll find that chemistry again. Cuddy knew exactly how long to make House's leash so he could do his thing without letting him get into too much trouble. Foreman isn't really there and I don't see it happening any time soon.
ISTM the only way to get it cleared up would be to bring in a new Cuddy2.0 and if the chemistry isn't there it would just be a generic asshole/bitch.
Oh well. I guess we'll see how it plays out. I still plan to watch.

Not long ago, we had a thread which asked if anyone other than House got to have the "light bulb moment." This episode certainly had it, where Foreman was staring at the flowers and figured out the

SPOILER:
Reyes Syndrome

thingy.....

I liked it.

I think they've pretty well said that this is the last season.

Thank you Lord Ashtar!

My guess was the PotW was going to have contracted something related to the floral business the wife gave up to take care of him. It was one of those ignored items during the initial patient presentation that I figured would end up being important. Fooled me!

The floral business was important - since the aspirin that the patient took was used by the wife to add to water to keep the flowers from wilting.
