So whatever happened to the UNCENSORED version of the Charlie Sheen roast?

Did I miss it?

I didn't watch the censored version six months ago figuring the uncensored version would be better. But I don't remember hearing anything about the uncensored version.

It was banned by the FDA for containing too much Tiger Blood.

Comedy Central just showed it the other night. I'm thinking this past Saturday, but it may have been Friday night. It came on at like 3am.

While I doubt anybody from that roast would be embarrassed by their comments about Sheen, there are a few who would probably take back their jokes about Patrice O'Neal's health problems, which in addition to not being funny even at the time clearly really offended him. (For those not familiar with him, he was a comedian who had a years long battle with diabetes and has since died of a diabetic stroke.)

I've wondered if Comedy Central keeps those parts in when rerunning the show.

You think he was offended? I thought he was just playing it really dry. "aw, man, that's cold. " like that.

As I said, they just aired it over the weekend. And those parts were in the broadcast.

I'm pretty sure I saw the uncensored version in September. I'd have to see Patrice O'Neal's reactions to the jokes to get a handle on how he might've felt, but I remember thinking at the time that he seemed annoyed. Since he had a stroke a month later and died a month after that, I can imagine that maybe the roast hasn't been rerun as often as it might have otherwise been.
