Winning!! Charlie Sheen's "Two and a Half Men" character to get funeral on premiere

Charlie Sheen’s “Two and a Half Men” character to get funeral on premiere

If this is the case, and if they do not mine comedy gold with this the writers need to turn in their word processors.

Not that I ever watch the show, but ever heard of a SPOILER?

Out in a ball of fire, how appropriate.

Spoiler? I think his removal from the show and his being killed off to make way for the new actor is pretty much galaxy wide news at this point. This story is merely confirming they will actually have a funeral, it says nothing about the specific plot elements of how this will be addressed. The cliff was a guess by the article writers. What a delicious metaphor though!

I don’t think the spoiler rule applies here since the episode hasn’t aired yet and all the articles about the possibility of this plot move have trumpeted it from the very headline.

You came into a thread about a show which you never watch just to throw down some  justice?

Meanwhile Charlie Sheen is to be roasted on Comedy Central that same week. I wonder if any 2.5M cast members will be among the roasters.

You have to wonder about how this would really play out with Charlie Sheen. Some of the entertainment from a celebrity roast is going beyond the limits of polite discourse and parodying or mocking the roastee, but he is so far out on the limb of self parody and public humiliation already how far will they have to go for anything they say about him to be outrageous or surprising?

I wonder if Desise Richard’s character will show up as part of the parade of Charlie’s exes? And wether most of the exes will be there to mourn or just to make sure it’s really him in the box. :stuck_out_tongue:

See… there’s a mother lode to be mined here.

Okay, I read the forum rules on this and don’t understand why they wouldn’t apply. Granted there is a chance that the info in that article is false in which case it isn’t spoiling. People who don’t want things like this revealed to them in advance can avoid entertainment news but that shouldn’t keep them from reading message titles.

Combine all of that with the general concept of courtesy - the basis of the spoiler rule and this one is pretty bad.

I knew that Sheen would not be back but until I read the thread title I didn’t know if he was being written out dead or alive.

Now that would be funny. Open casket funeral, but facing the other way so we can’t see what is in it, just the faces of people as they shuffle by and talk to his corpse.

Denise Richard’s character walks up. Pulls out a BIG HONKING KNIFE and stabs the corpse.

“Yup, he’s dead.”

They did a dream-sequence funeral for Charlie Harper a few years ago: Link
