Two and Half Men: Series Finale Anyone going to watch?

Finally, Chuck Lorre call Dr Kevorkian to euthanize the series. I have kept watching after Charlie Sheen left, but more out of habit than anything else. I miss Evelyn and Rose as regulars more than I miss Charlie Harper.

Hopefully most of the old recurring characters are going to return for the finale in some sort of fashion for the 1 hour finale. Charlie, Rose, Jake, Evelyn, Herb, Judith.

Dish Guide says:

Details regarding Charlie Harper are revealed

I am going to watch, but mostly to pay my respects.

The show lost its appeal for me when Kandy left. I don’t know if my husband will watch or not. If he does, I’ll see it by default.

The only purpose ever served by that show was to display the very pretty Melanie Lynnsky being funny and pretty.

I’ve seen most of the other episodes so I’ll watch that one too. The best episodes were always based on Evelyn, Berta, or Rose, so if they are there it has potential.

Note that her last name is actually Lynskey.

Are they going to show most of the characters getting mauled by a bear? Savaged by rabid wolves? Skiing into a massive snow-blower?

No?

Then no.

The early season were quite amusing in their way. Post-Kandy, the show defined crap.

I didn’t watch the pilot or any episodes in between then and now, so I’m going to say it’s extremely unlikely, at best, that I’m going to watch the series finale.

I don’t plan to watch, but am curious to whether Angus [whatever his last name is] and-or Charlie Sheen make an appearance.

Since Charlie left I’ve fairly uninterestedly watched each episode, but only once — and this despite the fact the glorious Courtney Thorne-Smith appears semi-naked, and more recently the adorable Maggie Lawson. Both are brilliant actresses and funny.

Even Kimberley Williams-Paisley, Miss Thorne-Smith’s sister from According To Jim reunited briefly. Amidst a wealth of guest stars, there were a galaxy of beautiful women. But without Charlie’s verve to carry the show it was essentially dead, and devolved into meanness and sentiment.
I can re-watch any of the ones before the débâcle, but no skill of the actors can redeem the series’s since.
I’ll watch it. But only once.

I didn’t watch it this season. Partly because I’m a cable cutter; and it wasn’t worth my effort to watch it as it aired; nor is it on Hulu Plus. But also partly because I didn’t like how the characters changed; mostly Alan. They turned him into a sniveling sponge. Him being cheap was funny; but him turning into the soulless ass hat that he is; is not enjoyable. Likewise Angus was funny when he was dumb; but not as much when he turned into a pot smoking waste of space. I didn’t mind him leaving the show.
So; no I won’t be watching it.

I haven’t watched since about the second or third episode with Ashton Kutcher, so probably not.

No. I find Ashton Kutcher to be annoying, and a piss poor actor.

If they are bringing Charlie Sheen back, or even a reference to Charlie Sheen’s character, I assume it’s a desperate effort to draw viewers for the final episode. Jon Cryer is a good actor and very funny. Melanie Lynskey, Conchata Ferrell, and Holland Taylor were hysterical.

Ashton Kutcher sux. IMHO, of course.

IMHO, the character of Jake (the kid) suffered from what I call ‘Radar Syndrome’. It seems he went from being a fairly intelligent, albeit not ‘book smart’, kid to being dumb as a post in later episodes. Just like they did with Radar on MASH.

Here is an example from the pilot episode in a very poor Youtube video.

No. I gave it a shot with Ashton Kutcher, but without Charlie Sheen it couldn’t hold my interest.

I saw an add for the finale. The highlight was Alan & Charlie’s mother shouting: “Charlie is alive ?!

My guess is, it’s going to turn out that Charlie faked his death, with psycho-neighbor lady helping him do it. We know he was living well above his means, and his finances were a house of cards that could collapse at any moment. He had plenty of motive to do something like this.

In the end, they’re going to break into psycho-neighbor lady’s house, and find Charlie being held as a sex slave

He never was a real actor.

Seems to me that he began life as a model and fell into that first show he did.

I have to agree that he never seemed to be a very good actor.

I finally gave up on the series a few episodes after Charlie left. So, no. I don’t give a bleep about the finale and I’ll probably just read this thread to see if anyone has anything funny to say. That is bound to be more entertaining than the actual show.

I can’t believe that Chuck would have that kid back for the Finale after what he had to say about Chuck. Same goes for Charlie. Chuck just has better things to do with his time and if I was Chuck, I’d just want to do anything I could to put a nail into the coffin of both of their acting careers.

I gave up on that show long ago. I’ve tuned in for an episode now and then, like Charlie’s funeral and a couple when Kutcher first started to see if it was worth my time. It wasn’t.
I find most shows get stale rather quickly. They fall into a reoccurring theme and beat it to death. With this one it was Allen being a sniveling, spineless leach.

But since it’s going to be below zero at the time and my garage heater can’t keep it warm enough to be comfortable and nothing else seems worth watching…

Maybe he really is that dumb. Kid could’ve been the third highest paid actor on television.

the funny filth continues.

good wrap.

Haven’t watched it since Charlie left, but this is actually pretty stupid-funny. I’m enjoying it more than I thought I would.

Oh that was fucking hilarious!
