I like Two and a Half Men. however I think the show needs to end. But I want the writers to tie up the loose ends.
I really don’t know much about Ashton Kutcher, other than he is quite a big younger than Sheen and married to Demi Moore, who is also a lot older than he is.

Why the hell not. If he’s good/popular enough that the show goes on for a while, like Spin City did when Michael J. Fox got replaced with some dude, that’s great. Otherwise, it was gonna die anyway, so why not try?
He’s A-list famous but not A-list box office, so he wouldn’t be a bad replacement. Plays one character convincingly and that’s a horndog doofus, but no idea how they’d work him into the plot. I’ve seen maybe 3 episodes of this series: does their mother (the actress incidentally is playing Ann Richardsin a one woman show during her sabbatical) have any other kids?
I think it’s less likely than some of the other names I’ve heard, simply because Kutcher has a very active film career.
I suppose its possible that Evelyn could have had a kid (given up for adoption) before Charlie and Alan, but doubtful after Charlie and Alan. She has been married several times, I guess there could be a long lost step-kid hiding in the attic.
Ironically, “some dude” was Charlie Sheen.
Charlie could’ve had an illegitimate kid, right?
Just give it up and end the show.
Or go full out “Coked Up Hollywood Exec” crazy and introduce Verne Troyer as the new “half a man”, counting the grown up kid as a full adult. 
Dunno how much I actually put this to reality since he’s the third name I’ve heard.
First it was Rob Lowe
Then Hugh Grant
Now Ashton.

I first heard this rumor on Jimmy Kimmel last night.
As much as I despise Charlie Sheen’s psychotic antics, he is a more talented performer than Ashton Kutcher.
They may as well have gotten Matt LeBlanc or Joey Lawrence.
Both Charlie and Ashton have the persona of “egotistical douche bag with limited self-awareness” (I have no idea what they are like in real life, but that is their rep), so yeah, it seems like a pretty good one-for-one replacement.
Kutcher can’t possibly be less funny than Sheen, can he?
Charlie Harper is quite well aware of the depths of his douche baginess, which comes through in the asides quite well. He puts up with his brother and nephew as some kind of penance. CH hides from the reality of CH inside a bottle and chasing women.
You’d think that getting Bruce Willis’ sloppy seconds would have taught Ashton his lesson, but noooooooooooooo…
