i like to go once a week its 15$ and i give 5$ tip so 20$ a week not too bad my i don’t work my mom pays for them im only 18 and i like the way it look. but i might finally miss a day tommorw because my mom wouldn’t buy me a ralph lauren sweater and all the other clothes i wore to the barber shop : (
I have never had a haircut in my life. The only time I had short hair was when I wa a baby and my hair was first growing in.
When I was younger, my mother used to trim my hair a little, and I trim it myself a little sometimes, but I’ve never had a professional haircut.
I’m not a SDMB professional, but you may want to have this moved to IMHO.
This sounds like a survey and not a GQ… but I’ll add that I get my hair cut once every 2 weeks or so, and that works for me. YMMV

Can’t go in to hairdressers emporioums but my daughter is an hairdresser and she does it - when I see her (she lives a fair distance away)

Every Three weeks I shave my head. I’m fairly bald so the shorter the hair the better I look.
Back in my full hair days I never had any haircut closer than two weeks apart and some as far as 2 months apart. But I used to get short cut styles that I would grow out and trim myself.
I guess I could afford weekly haircuts but my time and money priorities weren’t focused on that.

Once per week? I think hair only grows about two or three mm per week…
I used to go every six or eight weeks. Now it’s more frequently, perhaps every for or five weeks, mainly because I like the ear canal cleaning that goes with it.
I would say that someone’s punking us but I had a friend in middle school who went about that often because he liked his hair juuuust this side of a buzz cut and the minute the hairs started to droop from weight, it was off to the barber to get them shaved into submission.
Me, I go when my sideburns have re-established residence on my face.

Every few months. I generally get it cut short and then use hair clippers to keep the hair around my ears and down my neck cleaned up.

I got a haircut about 5 years ago. Before that I was keeping my hair short and would get one monthly. My hair grows out in all sorts of directions so it’s either grow it long or get fairly frequent cuts.
Every 5-6 months, when it gets too bushy.
Every 3-5 months, usually when it starts to get in my eyes.
I go once a week. I don’t spend $20, though. More like $12 including tip.
