If there was a group of people that referred to you (or us) as a Durper(s), would you find that at all insulting? Even slightly?
ETA: I meant Durper not Derper.

I think I’d have more problem being referred to as a “Derper” (since at least in the circles I hang out in, “Derp!” is kind of insulting in a ‘you’re an idiot’ kind of way, albeit usually in fun). Wouldn’t really mind either way, though.
I’ve never heard of a “durper,” unless that’s an alternative spelling.
My first thought when I saw that was “ERMAGERD! STRERT DERPERS!” 
The fact that anyone outside this board is talking about us at all is surprising. I always assumed this place was self-referential.
I can’t seem to muster up any feelings about it at all. As far as I know, no one has ever referred to me as a durper. Where does that word come from?

Being called a Derper or Durper? Meh. Doesn’t raise a blip on my giveashit meter.

Lowers my opinion of the speaker, as silly “insulting” names never really have been high on my personal list of “signifiers of a subtle and discriminating mind”, and harms me not a bit.
The existence of the “snackpit” boggles my mind, though. Like, really? That’s what you do for fun? But I guess I’ve never really appreciated many fine internet pastimes, like trolling and 4chan.

I’ve been insulted directly, pointedly, and with malice aforethought by persons who actually understand what chafes my nuggets. “Durper” is inconsequential.

I am pleased. Although I prefer the “Derper” spelling as it’s derpier.

If anybody, and I mean anybody called me that I would rain down an unholy level of internet terror the likes of which they have never seen and probably couldn’t imagine.
I would probably put on my caps-lock and go Chuck Norris internet-style on their asses.
They don’t ban anybody there (they need the traffic).
