I celebrate my one year anniversary of living in Chicago on April 16. Any interest in another dopefest this spring? I’d strongly prefer any Friday or Saturday from mid April until the week before Memorial Day. I’d also need a place that is accessible by CTA.
Ideally, I like a place where you can order drinks and has food available. We’ve done Galway Arms in Lincoln Park the past two times. That location is perfect for me, but I understand it is a pain for those who drive.
I’ll be there if I can. Most any time or place work for me, if I don’t have a conflict.
Potentially, yes. Although I’ve been embarrassed by unexpected family emergencies preventing my attending the last couple (the problems of a 92-year-old mother-in-law who’s a hypochondriac.)

How about the Dunkin’ Donuts at Clark and Belmont? Last time I was there (a few years ago) it was nothing but skinheads and punks on one side of the room, and cops on the other. Quite the eclectic ambiance!
I’m in if the dates work out. I have to say though the Galway is a royal pain in the ass to park around.
There are two pay lots within a block of the Galway - at the Lincoln Park Market and at the Children’s hospital.

What about somewhere in Lakeview? Easier parking. Say around the Southporr area? I live in Lincoln Park so that suits me too.
D’Agostino’s in Lakeview is a fine casual place with nice red checkered tablecloths and decent pizza. If memory serves, it’s at Addison and Southport.
I live in Lake View, so that would be perfect for me. I’ve only had D’Agostino’s pizza at a Cubs game, never been to the restaurant.
Dags is great pizza and a decent bar too.
D’Ag’s it is! As long as the “separate checks” Nazi isn’t planning to attend. Somehow I don’t think that is one of their strong suits.
I can do Lakeview, so long as we keep it north of Belmont. Southport/Addison sounds fine.
