I’m guessing a Pit Boss or Security Guard on the floor of a Casino was caught watching a live sporting event at the Sports Book rather than watching the customers. And that this fired employee used to be a cop, and (Spoiler?) owns a Harley.
I’m failing to guess what this has to do with the OP’s job interview, resume copies, tattoo placement, etc.
I must say, my guess on the join date of the OP was off by about 4 years and 7 months…

A friend of mine used to work as a dealer at an Indian Casino here in Michigan. She was trained as a Blackjack and Baccarat Dealer. She was told that she must keep her eyes on the playing table at all times, even when there are no players at the table. Apparently dealers are responsible for all chips on the table, so if her her gaze is turned away from the table for even an instant, it is an opportunity for someone to steal chips from the table, which is an offense for which she could get fired.
Dragwyr has it right. Casino floor personnel are under absolutely draconian rules about dress, movement, attention and actions. There are any number of very small things that can lead to losses for the casino, either from alert and savvy players or dealers (or pit bosses) taking advantage of a moment’s lapse. For instance, a dealer is never supposed to know when the pit boss’s eyes are on them, so the simple act of glancing back into the pit, even under their arm, can be a firing offense. Besides the fact that a dealer shouldn’t care where the pit boss is, it’s a moment a player can swap cards or adjust their bet.
