And I’m upset. I felt like crying when I saw his young face, so very young. Is it respectful to his family to have him posted with all the other nonsense posted on social media?
When Emmett Till was brutally murdered by white people, Ms. Mobley (his mother) did something extraordinary: she insisted that there be an open casket. She wanted the world to see how the U.S treats their own citizens. There are many people who support Zimmerman who wish to take the emotional element of it, because inevitably, having a bloodless corpse next to a Wal-Mart plastic bag shows exactly what white people think of blacks in this country: we’re trash. There were no ambulances called, no CPR by Zimmerman or Manalo, they left him dead or dying - didn’t even try to save his life - like some ran-over roadkill. It’s indicative of how I think people view blacks in this country: we’re non-human animals to them.
With that said, while I hope Mr. Moore obtained the family’s permission, I do support posting the pictures (if the family supports it). His bloodless corpse should showed side-by-side with Emmett Till’s corpse to every black boy and girl so they know precisely the world we live in. In superscript, the following words ought to be placed on the picture: “Malcolm X was right, Martin Luther King was wrong, don’t believe the hype because we have a black President and a black Attorney General.”

Moore is an asshole.
This isn’t a matter of debate.
Really, though? Really?
He’s a slow asshole, then. Numerous sites have had that up since earlier this morning.
Moved to IMHO from Great Debates.
“WHICH white people” ??? WHO?? WHAT?? WHERE??
I’m a “white people” and I do NOT view any human being as trash! I absolutely hate and am offended by generalizations such as yours.
Yeah, I have to agree with these responses. By ascribing a mindset to all white people, you’re coming off just as racist as those (real and imagined) you’re condemning.
CPR wouldn’t do shit - Martin wasn’t in cardiac arrest, he had a hole in his heart.
No, Martin Luther King was right, and Malcolm X was evolving towards his way of thinking but was killed.
Poor 'lil chap must have gone through agonies, having to hold off from hitting the Publish button for weeks in order not to get into trouble for prejudicing the jury, until with a manic giggle he was free to exploit the tragedy for much-needed self-exposure.
The photo was from the trial yesterday, IIRC. Some broadcasters didn’t cut away from it in time and it got out on the air, and was about immediately posted on the Internet. Apparently Moore didn’t get around to reposting it from somewhere for several hours, judging by when this thread went up in response.
Yes exactly. Look at all the white people gunning down black people across the country. The almost daily slaughter of black people in Chicago and Detroit by white people. It’s true, only white people treat others with such disdain. Crazy ass crackers.
“Don’t throw the first punch.”
The first “punch” was Zimmerman playing cop and following around some kid.
I killed two black people on the way to work today.
And yet we’ll never hear about this in the biased White Media.
white devil!
Unless Zimmerman or Manalo had Superman’s X-ray vision, how the hell would they know he was going under cardiac arrest? You see, Sir, when you see another human prone or writhing in agony: YOU FUCKING HELP THEM. You see, Grumman, real human beings - not sociopaths - are both altruistic and empathic, these are unlearned traits that are embedded right in our cerebral cortex. Either you have the neural software or you don’t, and if you’re the latter, there’s no way you’ll ever understand my point of view. Period.

I apologize to you and others, I realize now I should’ve worded it differently.
