In the history of the SDMB has anyone ever been wrong about more things than adaher?

I was just reading the thread about the GOP and race and then GIGObuster, in pointing out how wrong adaher was about something, linked to a thread about Rubio’s immigration bill where he had already showed that adaher was wrong about the very same thing he was saying in the GOP thread.

I mean, we’ve had some real contenders for the title here, but I don’t think that anyone has ever been so wrong so often about so many different things as adaher. Nearly every thing he’s ever posted seems to be wrong. If I were to try to link to them all, I’d just have to post this link to “Find all posts by adaher (which is currently no good since the Search feature is down atm).

Actually it’s his insistence, spin, obliviousness to opposing arguments, and speed of ignorance dissemination that makes adaher the Grand Raja of Wrong. You just can’t get a sense of that by listing 2300 examples or his post count.

Good point, MfM, and that’s what I meant: he’s pretty much wrong about everything. His facts are wrong, his interpretation of them is wrong, his conclusions are wrong, his sources are wrong… he’s so wrong he’s not even right twice a day. Yes, I said it: adaher is right less often than a non-functioning piece of machinery.

ralph124c. He’s the only poster who is more wrong. adaher makes statements that are informed, but very often wrong. Ralph is a perfect storm of ignorance and error.

Oh great. Should we throw in a few "fuck"s and some really vituperative remarks to keep this from being moved to GD?

He’s a partisan political hack. In his world-view, Republicans are always right, and Democrats are always wrong. He will spin, twist, re-interpret, and re-define anything and everything to maintain that one vital distinction. He is Fox News’ rightful prey. He is a naked nerve, jerking reflexively.

Starving Artist and Lonesome Polecat are (were?) in very much the same league. And, yes, we have one or two liberally-biased naked nerves too, but they generally tend to use more abstract language, with a few more qualifiers and concessions to nuance, than our right-wing extremists.

The most stupid thing was this bit:
You’re playing the Glenn Beck game. Find something you don’t like, then follow a trail to someone you really don’t like, and then make them the center of your campaign against that thing you don’t like.
When it was **adaher **the one that found that item of the lawsuit and posted in the Rubio thread. He even told us that the judge was ready to issue an injunction and the administration faced a huge defeat and was desperately trying to settle this out of court now.

IIRC I think there were reports that the Republican leadership tried to keep their distance as they knew who the ones moving the lawsuit were, so I can deduce that most of the spin adaher used in that thread did come from Birther racist Tea party sources. That he is acting as if that is not a big deal is to double down on the stupid.

Wasn’t adaher one of the few who were convinced until the bitter end that Romney was going to win?

And the examples are multiplying.

Listen you cretinous willful ignorant, the thread subject is about the Republicans and Race.

What you are only doing every time you attempt to change the subject is only to embrace the racist elements in your midst. And in the end you do not learn anything regarding the racists that made the lawsuit go farther than it was possible, you do not learn anything about the sources of information that lied to you about what to expect from the case, and you do not learn anything about why indeed Republicans get stuck with the racist label.

I will give you a hint why: Because Republicans like you do not mind and continue to tell others how efforts like that are nice,** and attempt to ignore the racists that are pushing for that even after others point who they are. **

Racists and birthers got it wrong and pushed a very stupid lawsuit to what the experts toll them it was going to be a predictable defeat.

Yes. Yes he was.

He’s pretty much single-handedly made the whole Elections forum useless for me. I take a look to see if there’s any new activity, and see adaher all over the “last post” column, and know before clicking that there is no longer any useful or interesting discussion going on there. Pretty much everyone else, regardless of how stupid (ralph124c, for example) or vile (Starving Artist, for example) their views are, seems to have some semblance of a personality behind the name. Adaher is just an empty shell into which someone pours the most convenient line for the Republican Party that day.

I think he exemplifies the idea of bullshit as being different from truth or lies. The fundamental thing that he’s dishonest about isn’t any particular specious “fact” he’s averred in discussion, it’s the fact that he simply doesn’t care. If there’s another thread where he needs to claim the opposite to be true, he’ll happily do that. Hell, I don’t even get the impression that he cares if it’s pointed out to him. He’s pretty much a soulless shill for the GOP, which is a thoroughly depraved institution, without any redeeming qualities whatsoever.

Scratch the surface only slightly, and he probably *still *thinks so!

I can’t join in the Pitting because I pretty much ignore adaher. He cares nothing about truth. He cares nothing about good policy. His only criterion is electoral victories for the GOP.

 1. Stand on Obamacare? Whatever will hurt Democrats in the next election.
 2. Debt negotiations? Whatever will hurt Democrats in the next election.
 3. Chop up little girls and feed them to pigs? I’m sure adaher would be for it if it helped GOP get votes.

He’s still in 2nd place behind lekatt, but it’s a close 2nd.

Who was that guy who claimed to have talked to a police officer with a demon face and had pretty, uh, interesting ideas on religion and God? It’d be pretty hard to be more wrong than him, I think.

We just had a Scientologist post in General Questions-he’s got to be in the running, right?

Anyone else under the impression he’s a paid shill whose job it is to try and influence public perception of the GOP?

Considering how good a job he’s doing…paid by which side?

I wasn’t insinuating they’d hire someone competent… (Project Orca anyone?)

Really? Not Brazil84? Not New Deal Democrat?

…Eh, fuck it, I’ll agree with this pitting. Adaher is a shitheaded GOP shill. There is no other explanation I can think of for how he’s so wrong so often.
