It’s been what, a month and a half since they were introduced? Enough time to at least start to settle in. The Popper-Eye’d-Eek and the Pepto-Overdose-Embarrassed smilies are making the transition, and Grin and Slappy are little changed. Even the Tom-Cruise-Is-Cool smiley is making itself at home. But there is no RollEyes.
There’s an I-Just-Peed-Myself-And-I’m-Privately-Enjoying-It smiely. Or maybe it’s an Aw-Shucks-Little-Ol’-Me? smiley. I don’t know what it is, but it’s certainly not a RollEyes.

Not to diss the Oakmeister, but perhaps he (and others) could think harder about what the appropriate response to Brainglutton (or insert debate adversary) might be in words. Paired with Mr. Dubious if absolutely necessary.

I’m not entirely unsympathetic to the OP. BigT and I tried last month to engineer a better rolleyes, without much success IMHO. Harder than it looks.
No, we don’t have a rolleyes smiley. We have something that’s triggered by [noparse]:rolleyes:[/noparse], but its meaning has no relation to what we’ve had for the past fifteen years. It’s not even synonymous. You can tell what the poster was trying to say, but it’s just not there.
It’s like some fifth grader sneaked in and changed the Board’s autocorrect. What’ll the little shit do next? Change ‘disagree’ to ‘poopy-butt’? Change ‘cite?’ to ‘nuh-uh!’ ? Neither is really all that related to the original.
