The last person to register did so at 12:59 am this morning, and that one was banned. I can’t recall registration ever being inactive for that long a period of time.
Maybe they’re getting a jump on April Fools Day for next year before someone ruins it?
I don’t know about registration, but new post notifications have stopped working again.
Yup, I came here to say this too. I’ve not had an email from my active threads since 9.22am GMT (BST?) yesterday.
And, of course, this was the first time in ages that I actually used the subscription service.
I suspect the mail server is down, that would account for this.
I’ll ask Jerry to investigate.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
What about registration? Still no new registrations since a little after midnight yesterday PST. Is that also tied into the mail server?
If you need to verify your email address via email in order to complete registration then yes, it is.
That makes perfect sense-thank you.
On the plus side-no spammers.
That’s them flooding in now, thanks!
Great, glad to see it’s fixed. Usually that’s the case; they find the mail server has stopped, they restart it, everybody gets their stuff, life goes on.
Thank you, Tuba. All fixed now.
Woo! Mail avalanche!
Thank you!!!
How does one go about monitoring when new members join?
If you go to the main message board page and scroll down to the bottom, it will tell you who our latest [del]victim[/del]applicant is.
But it just tells you who they are, I don’t see anything about the exact time they registered at? Where do you see that?
It won’t give you the exact time of registration, but if you click on the name you can get the time of their last activity.
