Not receiving 'new post' messages in subscribed threads

I haven’t received any messages about new posts being made in threads I’m subscribed to since 3:26 a.m. Eastern Daylight time on 4/30 even though I see some have been made. (And I normally get at least a dozen messages a day.)

I’ve checked, and they aren’t being filtered out by my ISP or my email program (Thunderbird.)

Has the board stopped offering this service?

Same deal with me. I haven’t received a single email from you folks since sometime yesterday. I have verified that I haven’t mistakenly done something like unsubscribed from threads and that there have been lots of my subscribed threads that have updated since I got my last email from you.

Brought up, and explained, in this thread. Since the mail server is down, confirmation email can’t be sent out.

Apparently someone has pulled the buttplug out of the server, as I got about 150 emails in just a few minutes.

I realized that before you sent that message, which is why I deleted it as best I could.

The e-mail server seems to be down. We’re aware of it. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Thanks for the update!
(I always dither over posting about this – it’s not an earth-shaking ‘must jump on it right away problem’, on the other hand, there was one time we lost phone service during and for three days after a snowstorm before we finally found out the phone co. had no idea there was a problem to be fixed.)

Definitely report it- other functions also use the email server (like when new posters join and it sends out the confirmation email), so if it’s down it affects more than just the new posts notifications. You guys are the canaries in the coal mine!
