Radio that play's good (new) rock.

In this thread;

bibliophage mentioned that there is new, good rock and roll out there. You only have to find a radio station that play’s it.
Well, most stations have ‘streaming audio’ or something like it so that you can listen online.
If there’s a station in your area that does play contemporary (not just oldies) rock, why not post it here?
One such station in my (San Francisco Bay) area is
http://www.kfog.com
They do a mixture of rock, blues, and reggae. Give it a listen.
Please, no top 40 stuff.

Another great one is http://www.dublab.com which plays a near constant stream of chilled hip hop and blissful dance beats.

Connect your stereo speakers to your PC, connect to dublab and just chill out.

Dance beats qualify as rock?
Ugh.
Not in my hypothetical universe in which I program a radio station.

The local rock station here is celebrating 25 years of rock. They have streaming audio available, although we’re not sure how much longer that will be available…lawsuits? Has anyone else heard about this? Something about having to pay separate royalties for radio broadcast and internet broadcast, even if it’s simulcast…?

Anyhooo, go to http://www.katt.com and check it out if you’d like.

If anyone’s interested in the blues, and rocks roots in the blues, there’s a good show on Sunday nights called “The House of Blues Radio Hour”. It’s hosted by Elwood Blues (Dan Aykroyd), and you can find out if it’s broadcast in your area right here;

It’s a good show, and a good way to wind down from the weekend and forget that you have to go to work tomorrow. :wink:
