Any online radio stations you like?

I keep searching for “oldies” format with no luck.
I can find “All Beatles, all the time” or “All Sinatra, all the time” or “All Motown, all the time”, but not a decent playlist of a good mix of groups.

zero -

Lemme get into work tomorrow, and I’ll see what I can dig up. (Why yes, I do work for a company that rates online broadcasters…)

Off the top of my head, I’d suggest NetRadio, DiscJockey, or Live365. The first two have both RealAudio and WindowsMedia streams, and have stations broken out by genre. Live365 is all MP3 streaming, and it’s individual guys streaming stuff out of their garage, so finding a good station is a little more hit or miss.

Hope this helps!!

try the echo player… you can customize what genres and artists that are played on your own station based on your own taste… very cool!

Echo Internet Radio

Sorry it’s not along your lines, but I love “The Womb” at http://www.thewomb.com/

A broad selection of electronica and dance

I listen to the C. W. Post radio station, because a friend of mine has a radio show on there on Friday nights.

zero hr,

The station I work for streams their broadcast. Here’s their website:

Netradio.com “New Wave 80’s” is genuinely good, and pretty fast too.

OMIGOD - you work for Oldie’s 95??? Kewlies!

I used to listen to them every day driving to KU and back. Sigh. Now it’s RATM and Limp Bizkit for Una…

I like Radio Paradise, at http://www.radioparadise.com . It’s an online AAA (Adult Album Alternative) format station, that plays more newer music than the on-the-air AAA station here in town (KBCO).

I like http://www.hardradio.com All hard rock/heavy metal no commercials either. I’ve found loads of stuff there that I had never heard before. to bad my new job doesn’t have soundcards or I’d listen more.
