Optimus Prime is missing (I assume) for the same reason that Mecha-Godzilla and HAL are: They’re too big. Everyone else seems to be to scale.
I’m not sure why they don’t have a dingbot from Girl Genius, though.

They seem to have avoided skinjobs in general: No Data, no humanoid cylons, no replicants, etc.
All from Silent Running.
Oooh, good one. I missed that, on the movie one of the robots is lost early and his only remaining piece was his foot.
The next 10, I only know two:
29: A Tachikoma from Ghost in The Shell.
Edit: And #16 is Chaos’s robot from the Voyager holodeck, I think.
You people have better eyes than me. Is Ash (Alien) in there? He should count as a “robot” – Parker calls him one in the movie, and he would know.
Well, not quite, although my original guess was off, too. The robot didn’t appear in the Commando Cody serials, as I’d thought, although it came close. The robot originally appeared, as near as I can tell, in 1936’s Undersea Kingdom. The prop was reused in several later films, including 1949’s King of the Rocketmen, a precursor to the Commando Cody serials - different character, but same rocket suit and same robot. More than fifty years later, it was resurrected again for Voyager’s black and white holodeck episodes. However, Voyager’s version lacks the tubing on the head, which appears to have only been used in the prop’s original appearance inUndersea Kingdom, which I assume is the intended reference for this picture.
The artist seems to have deliberately avoided including robots that could pass for organic life forms, so no Ash.
I can sympathize with his predicament, obviously.
The Star Trek Wiki says it’s Satan’s Robot.
I’ll have our current results for 1-50 up in a moment.
Using my wonderous mod powers, I’ve been editing my previous posts to include new identifications as people post them.
I totally know 115, the steampunk-looking, round, brass guy with a mustache near the front middle. I cannot name him tho. Someone name him. Soon. help!
Or more, even. Still a lot of holes. C’mon Sci Fi geeks, earn yer keep!
76: Andrew from Bicentennial Man.
80: NOMAD from Star Trek.
84: Wheatley from Portal 2.
87: Bubo the Owl from Clash of the Titans.
101: Jenny from My Life as a Teenage Robot.
147: VICTOR from The Black Hole.
And #84 is of course a Dalek, and not a robot!
