The Iron Giant (film of the same name), Robby (Forbidden Planet), Robot (Lost in Space), a Dalek (Doctor Who - not really a robot, but whatevs), VINCent and BOB (The Black Hole), Bender (Futurama), a skinless Swarzenegger-type Terminator unit (Terminator), R2D2, C3PO and the ‘garbage can’ droid (Star Wars), Maria (Metropolis), I think a toaster-style Cylon (Battlestar Galactica, remake), one I’m pretty sure is Gort (The Day the Earth Stood Still), one that may be Wall-E, but I’m not sure his body section is quite right.
So, 12 for sure, 3 maybes and 5 definitely unidentified…not a bad score, I think.
That’s pretty damned impressive. I got about half of yours.

Ack, you’re right…that’s the one I noted as a possible Cylon. So, scratch one of my maybes and allow me to facepalm hard (why do I never remember HIM, when the other two are so clear in my head).
All I know is robot silhouettes without Crow and Tom is a crime.
Bender the Great is there, so the others don’t matter
I’m pretty sure I see either Huey, Dewey or Louie from Silent Running.
I’d forgotten how annoying Twiki was until I saw him in silhouette.
Revising my estimate of my score - I’m going to increase my confidence on one of my maybes and acknowledge I’m wrong on the other two, so 13 right, 2 wrong, 5 unidentified.
I’m pretty much 100% certain that’s Gort. As acknowledged above, the ‘Cylon’ I guessed was actually Maximilian from The Black Hole, and my ‘Wall-E’ was certainly 1-Rover-1, after looking him up based on Battle Pope’s list. I agree with his Cylon, Omnidroid, and Twiki, and can find 7-Zark-7, now that I know what he looks like. Just leaves the spherical one next to the Cylon and Artoo to ID.
The one standing behind Threepio’s back? That’s the ‘garbage can’/Gonk/Power Droid. Pretty obvious silhouette those guys have.
What is the disk in the lower right (and left)? Is that supposed to be HAL’s eye? :dubious:

Hmm. Could be. It seems to have spokes, which HAL’s eye doesn’t, but that could just be artifacting.
… And the one next to it that looks like it’s wearing a kilt?
I figure thats the 1978 BSG Cylon. The original had mesh skirting hanging down it’s rear from waist to about knee level.

Could the little circle be the mechanical aliens from Batteries Not Included? I’m not sure if they count as robots…

What about the one at 2 o’clock? I thought possibly a quark, but its too small to see clearly.
The far right looks like one of Syndrome’s combat droids from The Incredibles.
