I read about this product on Roadfood.com and had to give it a try. It’s made by Farmland, which I think is a subsidiary of Smithfield. Why they called it “Pork and Bacon” is a mystery, as bacon is pork last time I looked. I suppose it’s better than “Porcon” or “Bork” or somesuch. Anyway, I’m happy to report that it is very tasty, with a nice smoky flavor and strong bacon presence. I also bought their Hot and Zesty, which will probably be good in breakfast burritos.
