We were as low as $1.449 this past week.
I just scored $1.53 right over the Indiana border in Hammond.
The card reader wasn’t working, and my low gas light was on, so I knew I needed nearly a full tank worth. So I went inside and had her put $30 on my card…the pump stopped at $28.67. I didn’t even bother going back in for my change. I’m still way ahead of my budget for gas for the month!

$1.85 at the corner station now. I’ve seen as low as $1.79 in the area.

Most stations (at least around here)have systems set to automatically refund any unused part of the prepay back to the card.
Good to know. I’ve never overpaid with a card before. The Pending is for $30; I’ll keep an eye on it.
