I am sure everybody has seen the Evil Overlord version, but years and years ago when I first ran across this list, I also saw 100 things I would do if I were a Hero, and 100 things I wouldn’t do If I were a captain of a spaceship. (or something of the sort) (unfortunately I cannot find these anymore)

So in this vein, 10 things I would or wouldn’t do if I were: <Fill in the blank>

(so, yeah, 100 things is probably beyond the scope of the thread, but feel free to do 100 if you have the time and creativity. :wink: )

8 things I’d do if I were my boss.

  1. Promote me.

  2. Give me a pay rise.

  3. Allow me to work from home.

  4. Change my status and work hours to that of a consultant. (So I don’t need to come in to work when the system is running fine, and when it’s not I can connect to it remotely and sort it)

  5. Give me a company car.

  6. Give me a company house.

  7. Give me a company £12,000 laptop computer.

I don’t consider my Boss to be my Evil Overlord, he’s more our Fearless Leader. To go where no Accounting Manager has gone before…

But if I wuz in Charge I’d, um, I’d, er… I dunno. Guess it’s a good thing I’m not in charge?
