I’ve put my novel up on Amazon. Guy tries to stop the multiverse from collapsing. Looks like it’s going to be psychologicalish horror but turns into standard guy-discovers-his-powers-and-tries-to-prevent-the-apocalypse stuff (and touching on nostalgia and relationships). The writing has been compared to Joyce and Nabokov, but then again they are my relatives (the comparers, that is, not the authors.) For fans of darkness leavened with occasional humor.
Most of Joyce’s corpus is easy to read. The idea that you don’t know that but somehow know that Finnegan’s Wake is hard to read makes me think that you don’t know what you are talking about.
So, with the doubt about readability removed, I’d just like to say it would be well worth checking 14 Days for Revenge out.
10 years, off and on. Sometimes I would not work on it for a year or more before picking it up again. It’s deliberately set in the late 90s so thankfully I didn’t have to update the tech and cultural references as it progressed.
