15th Annual Superbowl Early Picks thread

Steelers 24-Rams 21.

Patriots 24 - Rams 23

Vikings 25-Patriots 24

Eagles 24 Steelers 17 (dreamers gotta dream)

Lions 34… oh crap that won’t work.
In the battle of Pennsylvania,
Steelers 35
Eagles 31

Patriots 27 - Vikings 24

Thought it might be interesting to see how the teams are doing so far, in terms of picks

***Patriots*** 15-5	**Vikings** 6-8
**Steelers** 5-5	Rams 4-4
Jaguars 1-3	Saints 2-3
Chiefs 0-1	***Eagles*** 1-3
Titans 0-0	Panthers 1-1
Bills 0-0	Falcons 0-2

Not much love for the top NFC team, there.

Jaguars 28, Vikings 27

It’s hard to pick them when their franchise QB is done for the season.

REMATCH! BUT WITH A TWIST!

Falcons 31 - Patriots 24

Worse quarterbacks than Nick Foles have won it. Philly’s done okay without Wentz.

Sure, it’s just that it would be easier to pick them if Wentz was playing. Nothing more.

I could see the Iggles having a slim chance in the playoffs, at least in their first game for the division. They have a week off, Foles is an adequate QB, their wildcard opponents don’t look daunting. An Eagles-Steelers conference championship would be interesting, probably favor the Steelers though.

If the Iggles actually make it to the Super Bowl they’ll still lose to the Pats. Seems unlikely they’ll make it that far.

Is that the score at halftime?

That would be so much more than just ‘interesting’. :p;)

Hey, you know, Pittsburgh was never an AFL team, so it might make sense, in an alternate-universe sort of way.

Fair point.

(of course I’m assuming that by alternate-universe you mean one in which the life span of a ghost can be scientifically measured. if not then we need to talk… )

“Life-” span of a ghost? More like deathspan – which is measured on a clevelandbrowns time scale.

Fuck!

I hate when I don’t anticipate the ‘clevelandbrown’ defense.

:tipshiskingover:

Arghh. Note to self: Finish same sentence you started. Or other way around if that’s easier.
