Just finished watching the film “16 Blocks”.
I thought Bruce Willis did a remarkable job.
Thoughts?
I remember it being mildly entertaining, but I don’t remember anything specific about it so it can’t have been that memorable. Was there a bus involved somehow?
You remember right, hogarth, a bus does come into it.
I thought Mos Def’s character was a hoot. Although he grows a bit less irritating later on, you spend at least the first half of the movie wishing the bad guys would just plug him already.
Aye, Mos Def’s voice was making me want him dead. I have no idea why he (or anyone) thought that would be a good idea.
Other than that, I liked this film overall and thought Willis was very good in it.
It’s not a great film, but it is a good movie.
I wanted to slap Mos Def’s voice sideways at first. But it worked after a few scenes.
Mr. Willis started strong but evolved into typical at the end.
Kudos to Richard Donner and behind the lenses Glen MacPherson.
Enjoyable film. YMMV.
Yes. I was going to shoot him myself at the beginning.
I guess it was done to put Bruce Willis under even more stress: the guy he was struggling to protect was also bugging the shit out of him.
