Hacking Scandal Widens

This is bad timing for Rupert. he was almost ready to take over bSkyb and install a Fox network in England. He owns 39 percent and was going to get control. Now some highly placed politicians are objecting ,pointing out the low and possibly illegal standards that his “reporters” adhere to.

Man, you guys really need to learn to speak crazy. It’s a lot more fun. It’s pretty easy to understand what the guy is saying. Allow me to translate.

Murdoch is taking the easy way out by closing the paper. He is so despicable, he should be required to keep it going so that he will be continually mocked. The people at “Faux” news are probably under orders to not to say anything, for pain of death [obvious hyperbole].

The real problem with what the guy did is not his behavior, but how each individual working on the paper now has to share in the collective guilt. They are so inoculated to this sort of thinking, they think this behavior is normal. They go about their lives, doing horrendous things, and don’t feel bad about it. That’s the real legacy of what Murdoch did.

And then some stuff about how nude pictures and violent images are the real crime and much worse than anything going on in this scandal, and how this newspaper has inoculated us to the evils of such things.

I decided to not try to read what the OP is ranting about. Could anyone more lucid summarize it for me succinctly?

Is it something like, Murdoch shutting down a long-running paper for unethical failings means nothing because it’s rampant in the industry? But then it goes way crazy and my eyes glaze over.
