I don’t think this is the end as much as a small bump in the road.
The consistent lies that come out of News Corp and all its subsidiaries make me hope that this is their comeuppance, but I have no faith left in the justice system of this country or the UK that this will happen. More of the witnesses against them will have unexplained deaths and it will go away. This is a vast criminal enterprise with probable cause to believe widespread “wiretapping” and wholesale blackmail with respect to powerful politicians. All Washington knew that Hoover was doing that, but they never tried to take him down, they waited until he died. They will all cover for Murdoch now. He’s just too dangerous to them.
